These instructions apply exclusively to the heat wrap tape described. They contain important

information, before using the heat wrap tape. Failure to follow these instructions may cause damage

3.1 | Intended use
SILENT SPORT Heat Wrap Tape is used as additional insulation, e.g. on motorcycles, to protect the
rider and passenger against the risk of burns if they come into contact with header pipes. At the
same time, it reduces heat loss from the exhaust header, and the resulting thermodynamic effect
usually helps to improve engine performance. Hot gases flow more quickly, so if the exhaust gases in
the header are hotter, the exhaust gases are sucked out of the combustion chambers faster, which in
turn improves the influx of fresh, more combustible gas. Heat wrap tape is ideal for insulating header
pipes because it has extremely high temperature resistance (750°C) and is also highly flexible, which
allows it to be wound very tightly without creasing.
Please make sure that the product is suitable for your motorcycle model before you use it for the first
time. Always follow the advice in your owner's manual and the vehicle manufacturer's instructions.

considered improper use and may result in material damage. The manufacturer and supplier accept
