plug the power cord into a source of power.

This cord must remain unplugged whenever you

are working on the table saw.

Model SPT70WT Table Saw is shipped complete

in one carton.

Separate all parts from packing materials and

check each one with the illus tration and the list

of Loose Parts to make certain all items are ac-

counted for before discarding any packing ma-

terial (Fig. 3).

If any parts are missing, do

not attempt to assemble the

switch on until the missing parts are obtained

and are installed correctly.

REMOVE CABLE TIE AND

STYROFOAM BLOCK

(Used for shipping purpose only)

Turn saw over and locate the cable tie

anchors the motor/blade assembly to the base.

Using scissors or wire cutters,

cable tie (Fig 4).

Release the blade tilt lock handle, tilt blade to 45

degrees, then remove styrofoam block located

between motor housing and table.
