5.3. Coding the RFID Keys
The KVP 2700 is provided with a total of 7 RFID keys that can be
linked and unlinked at any time. Even additional user keys can be
linked in case of loss.
•
5 blue keys for normal opening use (user keys)
•
1 yellow key for increasing the number of user keys (linking)
•
1 red key for decreasing the number of user keys (unlinking)
Keys are linked from origin. Anyhow here it is explained the linking
and unlinking process in case of acquiring new ones. This process
requires removing the outdoor panel and opening it by unscrewing
the four screws in order to access into the inner electronics:

Yellow and red keys coding:
1.
Being the outdoor unit disconnected, set the jumper of the
reading card in the configuration poistion (This position means
shorting the second and third terminal.
2.
Connect the outdoor unit to the power supply.
3.
Pass the yellow key through the front reader. A short sound will
be heard and the led will remain in red colour. The yellow key is
set.
4.
Pass the red key through the front reader. A short sound will be
heard and the led will remain off. The red key is set.
5.
Disconnect again the outdoor unit from the power supply
and set the jumper back to the normal mode (short the first
and second pin).
