ATTENTION – To reduce the risk of
personal injury read these operating
instructions.
ATTENTION – Read all safety
precautions and instructions.
Failure to observe precautions and
instructions may lead to electric
shock, fire and/or severe physical
injury. Save all safety precautions
and instructions for future use.
Keep your working place clean and well lit.
Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
The mains voltage must correspond to the volt-
age indicated on the type plate.
Vapours produced during soldering are harm-
ful to health. Ensure proper ventilation of the
working area or use a suitable extraction unit,
if required.
To avoid injury from burning, hold the solder-
ing bit only by the handle. During operation,
the entire front section of the soldering bit is
extremely hot.
Do not place the soldering bit on a flammable
surface (use included holder).
Do not use the soldering bit in explosive at-
mospheres or near flammable liquids, gases
or dust.
Before carrying out any maintenance or clean-
ing work, disconnect the power plug from
the socket and allow the soldering bit to cool
down fully.
Regularly check the power cables for damage
(risk of electric shock). Do not replace or repair
damaged power cables. If there is any dam-
age, dispose of the soldering bit in an environ-
mentally responsible manner.

For your safety
Never carry out any work on electrical com-
ponents that are powered. Before carrying out
any soldering work on equipment, disconnect
the equipment from the power supply and en-
sure that it is not powered.
Protect your body and the eyes against solder-
ing splashes and liquid solder. When working
with the soldering bit, wear suitable protective
clothing and protective goggles.
When not in use, store the soldering bit outside
the reach of children. Prevent persons who are
not fully familiar with the tool or have not read
these instructions from using the soldering bit.
The soldering bit must not be used by persons
(including children) with limited physical, senso-
ry or intellectual capacity. Also ensure that the
soldering bit is not operated by persons who
are inexperienced in this type of work and/or
do not fully understand the process, unless they
are supervised at all times by a person who
assumes responsibility for their safety, or if they
have been fully instructed in the operation of
the soldering bit.
The soldering bit is designed for soft soldering and tin-
ning of suitable materials.
The soldering bit is only approved for connection to a
230V/50Hz AC power mains and must be protected
against dampness or moisture!
Any use for a purpose other than those specified
above is deemed improper and will result in damage
to the soldering bit. In addition, there is a serious risk
of damage or injury from short- circuits, fire, electric
shock, etc.
Proper use
