INSTRUCTIONS
Installation
The swivel union is packed separately in the reel carton, use teflon
tape to assure a satisfactory seal. A flexible hose connection must be
used between the hose reel inlet and the source of supply to prevent
possible misalignment and binding. Non flexible connections will void
the warranty. Pressure rating of inlet hose must be equal to or more
than the pressure rating of the reel. ©Reels should not be hung higher
than 16' from the floor. ©Mount reel to rigid mounting surface, not flex-
ible wall or surface.
Lubrication
Hose reel spring and bearings are packed with grease and require no
further lubrication.
Replacing Hose for Maximum Spring Tension©
1. Wind spool flange clockwise (facing swivel) until spring is tight
2. Back off three turns and latch.
3. Insert hose through roller guide.
4. Connect hose fitting to female outlet ell.
Adjustments
©Suggested adjustments for 50' or 75' of 1/2" hose are at least 21 turns
of spool flange. Suggested adjustments for 100' of 1/2" hose are at least
23 turns of spool flange.
Repairs
Extensive repairs should be performed only by an authorized service-
man or factory to avoid damage which may void your warranty. Remove
all spring tension before beginning disassembly process.
Modifications
Hose latching mechanism can be removed for constant tension applica-
tions.
SAFETY
Do not use reel at higher pressures or temperatures than listed on the
back of this bulletin.
Remove all spring tension before beginning disassembly process.
Reel spring motor case is permanently sealed. Any attempt to remove
the spring motor may cause serious injury.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Lincoln warrants that lubrication equipment, materials dispensing equip-
ment and other related equipment manufactured by it wIll be free from
defects in material and workmanship during the one (1) year following
the date of purchase. If equipment proves to be detective during this war-
ranty period, it will be repaired or replaced without charge, provided that
factory examination indicates the equipment to be defective. To obtain
repair or replacement, It must be shipped, transportation charges pre-
paid, with proof of date of purchase to a Lincoln authorized Warranty and
Service Center, within the one (1) year following the date of purchase.
This warranty is extended to the original retail purchaser only. This war-
ranty does not apply to equipment damaged from accident, overload,
abuse, misuse, negligence, faulty installation or abrasive or corrosive
materials, or to equipment repaired or altered by anyone not authorized
by Lincoln to repair or alter the equipment. This warranty applies only
to equipment installed and operated according to the recommendations
of Lincoln or Its authorized field personnel. No other express warranty
applies to lubrication equipment materials dispensing equipment and
other related equipment manufactured by Lincoln.
Any implied warranties applicable to lubrication equipment, materials
dispensing equipment and other related equipment manufactured by
Lincoln including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a par-
ticular purpose, will last only for (1) year from the date of purchase.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty
lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
In no event shall Lincoln be liable for incidental or consequential dam-
ages. The liability of Lincoln on any claim for loss or damage arising out
of the sale, resale, or use of lubrication equipment, materials dispensing
equipment and other related equipment shall in no event exceed the
purchase price. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclu-
sion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other
rights which vary from state to state.
