4) Never connect a damaged
cable to a mains socket and ne-
ver touch a damaged cable that
is connected to the mains socket.
Damaged or deteriorated cables
may cause contact with energi-
sed parts.
5) If the machine's power cable
is damaged, it can only be repla-
ced with an original spare part by
your dealer or an authorised ser-
vice centre.
6) Power up the machine using
a differential switch (RCD - Resi-
dual Current Device) with a trip-
ping current of max. 30 mA.
7) The permanent connection of
any electrical equipment to the
mains of a building must be in-
stalled by a qualified electrician in
conformity with the regulations in
force. Incorrect wiring can cause
serious injury and even death.
8) WARNING: DANGER! Moi-
sture and electricity are not com-
patible:
– always handle and connect
electric cables in dry condi-
tions;
– never allow electric sockets
or cables to contact wet areas
(puddles or wet grass);
– connections between cables
and sockets must always be
watertight. Only use extension
leads with intact, watertight and
approved sockets sold on the
market.
9) The quality of the exten-
sion leads must be no less than
H07RN-F or H07VV-F, with a mi-
nimum section of 1.5 mm
recommended maximum length
of 25 m.
10) Attach the extension lead to
the cable fastener before starting
the machine.
11) Never pass the vacuum
tube over an electric cable. Use
the cable fastener to prevent the
cable from disconnecting acci-
dentally as indicated in this ma-
nual. Make sure it is connected to
the socket without being forced.
12) Never pull the machine by
its power cable or use the cable
to pull the plug. Do not expose
the cable to sources of heat, or
let it come into contact with oil,
solvents and sharp objects.
13) Do not touch any moving parts
before the machine has been di-
sconnected from the power sup-
ply and the movable dangerous
parts have come to a standstill.
F) TRANSPORTATION AND
HANDLING
1) Whenever the machine is to
be handled or transported you
must:
– turn off the motor;
– only hold the machine using
the handgrips and position the
tubes so that they do not ob struct.
2) When moving the machine by
motor vehicle, remove the pipes
and position so it is not a hazard
for anyone and secure it firmly to
prevent it from turning over.
G) ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION
1) Dispose of the packaging and
waste mate rials in accordance
with the local laws in force.

2) At the time of decommissio-

ning, do not pollute the environ-
ment with the machine, hand it
over to a disposal centre, in ac-
cordance with the local laws in
force.
