Warning and safety instructions
Take the temperature a total of three times from the same ear. If
the results differ, take the highest temperature value.
Clean the device after every use in order to prevent any
reinfection or infection of other persons.
The temperature of a healthy person may differ by
0.2 - 1.0°C / 0.4-1.8°F between the temple and the ear.
The person who is having their temperature taken should avoid
any fluctuating ambient temperatures for at least 5 minutes before
the measurement. Avoid any strenuous physical activity or taking
a bath for at least 30 minutes before the measurement.
Make sure the temples are dry, clean and free from make-up
when taking the temperature. Avoid placing the device on any
scarred areas.
This measurement does not indicate body temperature and cannot
be used for diagnosing fever.
Keep the battery out of reach of children. There is risk of ingestion. 3.1
The battery must be replaced as soon as the "battery empty"
symbol appears in the LCD display.
