MENU Operation
Alarm Function
Connect external sensors to ALARM IN connectors on the
rear panel of the monitor. Alarm signal input from external
sensors will trigger a display of a picture on the channel in
which the alarm signal was received. The monitor will send
out alarm signal output that will trigger visual recording on
a device such as a Time-Lapse VCR.
Alarm state
When an alarm signal comes through ALARM IN
connector, the monitor enters an alarm state described
below.
• A buzzer that indicates an alarm state will sound. (Only
when you have selected BUZZER ON on the menu.)
• A lamp on the channel button will start flashing.
• The monitor will show on full screen a picture of the
channel that received the alarm signal and a sign that says
ALARM. If two or more channels received the alarm
signal, the monitor will show a quad display, and the
pictures of the channels that received the alarm signal will
have a letter A on the display.
• ALARM OUT TRG connector will send out an alarm
trigger signal for 100ms at LOW voltage.
• The alarm signal output sent out from the ALARM OUT
connector turns to ON (LOW).

• The lamp on the channel button will go off.
• The ALARM sign or A sign on the monitor will disappear.
• The monitor will show quad display.
