Once the installation type (topmount or undermount) has been
decided on, your counter top will have to be cut accordingly .
A sink template has been provided to assist the counter top
fabricator . An electronic version of the template is also available
from our customer service agents .
A support structure must now be implemented into the cabinet
Start by drawing a horizontal line that is level and parallel to the
countertop . The height at which the line is positioned depends
on the chosen installation type . Supports that will carry the full
weight of the sink will be added below this line .
In some cases, the cabinet sides will have to be cut in order to fit
the sink .
The support structure should be constructed using 2" x 4" solid
wood studs . It must be strong enough to support at least 700 lbs
(318 kg) of weight .
