5. OPERATION

1. Unpack all parts and lay them on a flat, stable surface.
2. Remove all packing materials and shipping devices, if applicable.
3. Make sure the delivery contents are complete and free of any damage. If you find that parts are
missing or show damage, do not use the product but contact your dealer. Using an incomplete
or damaged product represents a hazard to people and property.
4. Ensure that you have all the accessories and tools needed for assembly and operation. This also
includes suitable personal protective equipment.
WARNING! The product must be fully assembled before operation! Do not use a product
that is only partly assembled or assembled with damaged parts!
Wear protective gloves for this assembly work and always lay the product on a flat and
stable surface while assembling.
Follow the assembly instructions step-by-step and use the pictures provided as a visual
guide to easily assemble the product!
WARNING! The device and the packaging are not children's toys!
Children must not play with plastic bags, sheets and small parts. There
is a danger of choking and suffocation!
Remove the battery from the power tool before carrying out work on the power tool (e.g.
maintenance, changing tool, etc.). The battery should also be removed for transport and storage.
There is risk of injury from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
Use only the chargers listed in the technical data. Only these chargers are matched to the lithium-
ion battery of your power tool.
Note: The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure full battery capacity, fully charge the
battery in the charger before using your power tool for the first time.
The lithium-ion battery can be charged at any time without reducing its service life. Interrupting
the charging process does not damage the battery.
The lithium-ion battery is protected against deep discharge by the «Electronic Cell Protection
(ECP)». When the battery is discharged, the power tool is switched off by means of a protective
circuit: The application tool no longer rotates.
Follow the instructions on correct disposal.
