ADJUSTING THE ANGLE OF THE BLADES Fig. 1
In order to facilitate the hedge trimming operations for the
operator, the angle of the hedge trimmer's blades can be
adjusted by 120°.
In order to adjust the angle:
- put on protective gloves
- shut off the motor
- use your right hand to hold on to the grip (1) while
simultaneously pressing the lever (2) downwards with the
other hand in order to release the ring nut (3)
- use the grip (1) to adjust the angle of the blades.
- once the blades have been adjusted as desired, release the
lever (2), making sure that the teeth (4) are properly engaged
within the toothed section (3)
ATTENTION: The machine must be used from the
right hand side of the body, see fig. 6-7-8-9
Put on the strap and attach the machine.

machine in the presence of good light and visibility - use
prudence.
- It is forbidden to use the machine while standing on a ladder,
a branch or upon any other unstable surface
- Do not operate the machine near live power lines: DANGER
OF FATAL ELECTRICAL SHOCK
- Hold the machine on a slant, do not stand directly beneath
the branch to be cut and do not exceed a cutting angle of 60°
with respect to horizontal.

function.
EXAMPLES AND SUGGESTIONS FOR USING THE HEDGE
TRIMMER
ATTENTION: Before starting any work, make sure that there
are no objects in the hedge which could damage the hedge
trimmer.
- The use of the strap is recommended in order to reduce the
physical effort required and to improve the safety conditions.
- Select the most suitable blade angle for the cutting
operations to be performed.
- Bring the acceleration lever to half its stroke and start
trimming.
- It is recommended to cut gradually in order to avoid
damaging the hedge, as well as to avoid damaging the hedge
trimmer on any large branches which may be present.
HORIZONTAL CUTTING fig.8
Adjust the blade angle so that the operator is in an erect
position while the blades are parallel to the ground.
Keep the blades a few centimetres off the ground in order to
avoid damaging them.
VERTICAL CUTTING fig.9
By adjusting the blade angle, the operator can work at any
desired distance from the hedge.
Cut upwards from below, or vice versa.
CUTTING THE TIPS FIG. 6-7
Adjust the blade angle based on the height of the hedges.
PRUNER
- Place the machine on a flat and unencumbered surface - see
fig. 18.
- Remove the chain protection - the chain must not come into
contact with the ground or any objects - see fig.18.
- For the procedures for activating the motor and using the
hedge trimmer, see the instruction manual which comes
supplied with the hedge trimmer itself.
CUTTING SEQUENCE Fig. 19
- Cut the lower branches first in order to facilitate the removal
of the branches which have been cut.
THE CUT MATERIALS CAN BE USED FOR COMPOSTING.
ADVANTAGE - The bar's angle with respect to the machine
allows for the user to work on the trunk of the tree for almost
its entire circumference without having to change position.
