When the equipment is being handled or installed, safety gloves must be worn or other measures must be taken to prevent accidents
and ensure the safety of yourself and others.
Observe sound power levels: technical documents. When planning, take into account sound insulation at the installation site.
Ensure you firmly anchor the equipment down, using the wall fixing brackets (Fig.12a or Fig.12b) or the fastening bands (provided as
accessories Fig. 2 - B) if it is installed directly onto the duct.
When installing the equipment, if access to the vents is not protected by a raceway or other means, you must install a protection net
(provided on request see Fig. 3/1) onto the vent to prevent risks of access to and contact with the moving parts.
Cut the grommet so that it perfectly adheres the diameter of the cable.
The type of cable to use is shown in Fig. 13. For the connection refer to Fig. 14 and specifically to the diagrams displayed under the
lid of the wire terminal box (Fig. 4 - C).
AS THE EQUIPMENT IS BUILT AS CLASS I, IT MUST STRICTLY BE CONNECTED TO THE PLANT OR THE EARTHING TER-
MINAL OF THE PLACE OF INSTALLATION.
On completion of the electrical connections, check the connection clamps are tightened correctly, close the box and switch on the
machine.
Once the machine has been switched on, check that:
- it is rotating in the correct direction, corresponding with that is described on the wire terminal box lid (Fig. 4 - C).
- the amount of electricity being absorbed corresponds with that specified on the plate.
- there are not excessive vibrations which could jeopardize the stability of the equipment.
If the equipment is connected with a regulator, ensure that this is in proportion to the power of the driven equipment.
