► Always ensure the lid is firmly closed and do not open the lid
while water is boiling, to avoid being scalded.
► Do not fill the device over the "max"-marking (1500ml).
► Do not overfill the device, hot water can spurt out.
► Incorrect use of appliance may cause serious burns,
therefore, attention shall be taken.
► Do not touch the inside of the pot directly after using it.
Residual heat can cause burns!

12.4 Dangers due to electrical power

Danger
Mortal danger due to electrical power!
Mortal danger exists when coming into contact with live wires or
subassemblies!
Observe the following safety notices to avoid dangers due to
electrical power:
► Do not operate this device if it has a damaged cable or plug,
if it is not working properly or if it has been damaged or
dropped. If the power cable or plug are damaged, then they
must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent in
order to avoid a hazard.
► Do not open the housing on the device under any
circumstances. There is a danger of an electrical shock if live
connections are touched and the electrical or mechanical
structure is altered. In addition, functional faults on the device
can also occur.
► To protect against electric shock, DO NOT immerse cord,
plug or the device in water or other liquids.
► Avoid that water splashes on the power cord.
