To lower the base to the fl at position during an electrical power outage, complete the following procedure:
STEP 1
Verify power is unplugged from electrical power source.
STEP 2
Locate (1) power brick (FIGURE 6) and (2) 9 volt batteries (not
included).

Install (2) 9 volt batteries in power brick (FIGURE 7).
