Transformerless central inverter
Requirements for the air in the operating area
To filter the inlet air at the air filter, use a G3 or G4 class filter (EN 779).

Free of combustible, explosive, aggressive, caustic or corrosive gases,
|
vapours or dusts.
Maximum relative humidity 95% (non-condensing).
|
Supply and exhaust air separated to prevent an air short circuit.
|
The size of the air inlet and air outlet must be determined in line with
|
the design and the required airflow rate.
Total of counter-pressures < 70 Pa. Please note:
Required air flow rate: 4000 m³/h.
|
At higher counter-pressures, use external fans.
|
When calculating the pressure loss, note:
pressure losses from components such as air baffles, air filters,
|
blades, air ducts.
pressure loss increases due to contamination of components.
|
that the inverter can be disregarded when calculating the pressure
|
loss.
Using external fans
The ventilation system can be supported by an external fan. If the external
fan is thermostat-controlled:
install it in the air duct, centrally above the central inverter and
|
set to +40°C.
|
A timed relay ensures that the fan runs on for 5 to 10 minutes. This
reduces the switching frequency of the external fan.
Ensure that you have the required specialist knowledge or contact an
expert in ventilation technology.
