RADIO CONTROLLED
CLOCK WITH TEMPERATURE
USER' INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for your purchase of this delicate Radio
Controlled clock. The utmost care has gone into the
design and manufacture of your clock. Please read the
instructions carefully and keep the manual well for
future reference.
GETTING STARTED
1. Remove the battery door.
2. Install two new AAA size batteries as per the polarity
information marked on the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery door.
4. Once the battery is installed, the normal segments
of the LCD will be shown before entering the normal
time mode.
Note
If no display appears on the LCD after inserting the
battery, press the "RESET" key by using a metal wire.
FUNCTION KEYS
CLOCK key:
- In normal time mode,press and hold it for 2 seconds
to enter normal time setting mode.
- In setting mode, press it to step the setting items, or
press and hold it for 2 seconds to return to normal
time mode.
ALARM key:
- In normal time mode,press and hold it for 2 seconds
to enter alarm time setting mode.
- In setting mode, press it to step the setting items.
- After setting, press it again to save the setting
values.
DOWN key:
- In setting mode, press it to decrease the setting
value.
- Press it without releasing to speed up the setting.
UP key:
- In setting mode, press it to increase the setting
value.
- Press it without releasing to speed up the setting.
ALARM ON / OFF slide switch:
- Slide it to ON position to turn on alarm function.
- Slide it to OFF position to turn off alarm function.
SNOOZE/LIGHT key:
- Press it to turn on and keep the backlight for 5
seconds.
- When the unit is sounding,press it to stop the current
alarm and enter snooze mode.
NIGHT-LIGHT ON/OFF slide switch:
- Slide it to "ON" position to activate night-light
function.
DCD-201
When it is "ON",the backlight will automatically turn
on in dim & dark environment detected by the light
sensor.
- The brightness of night-light is weaker than normal
backlight.
- Slide it to "OFF" position to turn off the night-light
function.
°C/°F key:
- Press it to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
RESET key:
- In case of mal-function, press "RESET" key by using a
metal wire to reset all values.
