Omelet Maker
Egg White Omelet
• 4 egg whites, lightly whisked
• 1⁄2 cup of filling (optional)
• Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
Preheat the Omelet Maker. Combine the omelet ingredients* and whisk until aerated.
Open the Omelet Maker lid and lightly brush the omelet plates with cooking oil or use a
non-stick cooking spray. Pour the egg mixture into the omelet plates, do not overfill. Close
the lid. During cooking, the omelet maker lid may lift. This is normal. The omelet will be
cooked after 6-8 minutes. Remove the omelet with a plastic spatula. Do not use metal
utensils, as they will damage the non-stick coating.
* Note: Filling ingredients can be pre-cooked in the omelet plates or added directly into
the omelet mixture.
Fried Eggs
Instructions:
Preheat the Omelet Maker. Open the Omelet Maker lid and lightly brush the omelet
plates with cooking oil or use a non-stick cooking spray. Crack one egg into each omelet
plate. Close the lid and allow the Omelet Maker to fry the eggs, for 3 to 4 minutes.
* Note: Times may vary depending on egg size, quantity and hardness desired.
Open the Omelet Maker lid and remove the fried eggs with a plastic spatula. Do not use
metal utensils, as they may damage the non-stick coating.
Poached Eggs
Instructions:
First, brush the omelet plates with cooking oil or coat with a non-stick cooking spray. Add
2 tablespoons (40mL) of water to each omelet plate. Preheat the Omelet Maker. After
about 2 minutes, the water will start to boil. At this point, open the lid and break one egg
into each of the omelet plates. Close the lid and allow the eggs to poach.
After a short time, the water will resume boiling. Allow to boil for about 1 more minute.
At this point, the eggs should be lightly poached. Open the lid and check on them. If you
prefer poached eggs with a firmer consistency, close the lid and allow the water to boil
for about 30 seconds to a minute more, always ensuring that there is enough water in
the plate. Open the lid and remove the poached eggs using a plastic spatula. Do not use
metal utensils, as they may damage the non-stick coating.
