Turning left we open the valve.
The drainage valve has a security thread cap. This
provides the needed tightness in case of a bad use of
the valve, manipulation by children, etc.

4. START-UP

Before starting-up, read carefully the following
points.

4.1. FILLING THE SPA

The Spa does not have a specific filling system. Using
a manual filling system with a garden hose or similar is
recommended.
Proceed as follows:
Before filling the Spa, locate the drain valve and
ensure that it is CLOSED.
Fill the Spa through the top with clean water up to
a minimum level of 3 cm over the highest Jet.
Do not fill the Spa through the filtering cartridge.
It must be always filled through the base of the
Spa. Otherwise, air could get into the pump and
damage the circuit. This could damage the Spa.

During the filling process, water should be
prevented from entering electrical parts.
If sea water is used in the Spa, the circuit
components will quickly deteriorate.
Do not fill the Spa with hot water over 50ºC, as
this could trigger off the safety thermostat and
damage equipment and connections.
Once the Spa has been filled with water, connect the
electrical equipment. (See Electrical connection).

4.2. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

The Spa can be directly connected to the electrical
connection of your house if there is a 230 V mono-
phase current.
It is essential to have an earthling connection in the
base where we connect the plug of the Spa.
The maximum consume of the Spa is 2.35 kW.
Installing a differential of 30 mA is essential
in order to protect from discharges. (Not
included.
It can be bought in specialised
stores).
4.3. START-UP
Do not use the Spa before carefully reading all the
information detailed in the following points:
In the control panel of the Spa, press the jets
circuit (see 5.1
Control panel of the Spa
to correctly start-up the whole circuit.
Adjust water pH between 7.2 and 7.6 (see 7.3. pH
adjustment).
Add the required chemical products recommended
in "Water maintenance" in the pre-filter basket.
Remember that these products cannot be mixed at
the same time but they have to be added one by
one leaving the necessary space of time.
Select the required temperature (see 5.1.
panel of the Spa
).
If the water is cold, it may take 24 hours to reach
a temperature of 38ºC.
Before using the Spa, check the pH values again in
case they have changed due to the treatments
indicated above.
