FOOD SAFETY
1. When blending hot liquids, remove the middle part of the lid (made of clear plas-
tic) during use.
2. Do not insert large pieces of food (especially hard foods) into the container. We
recommend pre-chopping your food for a smoother blend.
3. Do not process very hot foods (maximum temperature: 140° F / 60º C).
4. Do not overfill the blender past the 2 cup (400ml) mark as this may cause spills and
lead to electrical shorts or shock.
5. Make sure you remove the pit and peels from all fruit that you're blending.
GETTING TO KNOW YOUR BLENDER
1. BLENDER JAR ASSEMBLY:
Lid (both the center, plastic piece and the rubber outer shell),

Where the motor resides. Don't get it wet!

Automatically stops an improperly assembled blender.
GETTING STARTED
Before using the appliance for the first time:
1. Ensure that the blender and parts are fully intact.
2. Carefully wash all parts that come in contact with food (glass container, accesso-
ries, lid). These parts can be washed with either a nonabrasive sponge and mild
detergent, or in a dishwasher. Other accessories with electrical parts (such as the
motor block), should be cleaned with a damp cloth and left to dry before use.
3. Remove & reattach the glass container without plugging the appliance in or adding food.
HOW TO USE YOUR BLENDER
1. Place motor unit on a flat and stable surface.
