Important safety instructions

▪ Devices can be used by persons with limited physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, and persons lacking experience and/or lacking
knowledge, if they are supervised or have received instructions
regarding how the device is to be used safely and have understood
the resulting hazards.
▪ This device shall not be used by children. The device and its connec-
ting cable are to be kept away from children.
▪ Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the device.
▪ The appliance should be disconnected from the mains by disconnec-
ting the mains plug:
⋅ before assembling or disassembling
⋅ after use
⋅ if left unattended
⋅ if malfunctions occur during use
⋅ before cleaning and care.
▪ Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before chan-
ging accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
▪ Handle the appliance with care. Improper use can result in defects
on the product or injuries. Wait for the appliance to come to a stop
before changing the attachments. The blender has a sharp blade.
▪ Clean all surfaces after use, which have got in contact with food.
Follow the notes in chapter „Cleaning and care".
▪ If the appliance's connection cable is damaged then it must be
replaced by the manufacturer's central customer service department
or by a similarly qualified person. Improper repairs may constitute a
serious threat for users.
▪ Only use original accessories. Please follow the instruction when
using accessories which were not provided with the device.
▪ Use caution when handling the sharp cuttings blades, when empty-
ing the jar and when cleaning.
