- Before drilling, always make certain that the mechanism stops is perfectly up against the contact
points of the work piece.
- Always match the template with the work piece starting from the front edge.
- Check drilling depth before drilling.
- If the drilled hole is not clean, sharpen the drill bit.
On the surface of the work piece on
which the holes are to be drilled,
draw a line across the horizontal
work piece: this line must also be
positioned at the centre of the vertical
work piece.
