8. First Use

Notice!
The air warmer / cooler is prepared for operation without air humidifier.
When using an air humidifier, the air warmer / cooler on the belt must
be positioned on the side of the air regulator. This requires an additional
adapter plate with hip padding (see chapter 8.2). In addition, the length
of the air regulator connection hose also has to be adjusted (see chap-
ter 8.3).
The air warmer/cooler is supplied fully assembled and ready for opera-
tion.
Check after unpacking:
■ Air warmer / cooler damaged.
■ Scope of supply complete (see chapter 5).
8.1. Personalise the air warmer / cooler
The air warmer / cooler can be personalised with a CCS disk [3-1]. The
air warmer is supplied ex works fitted with a red CCS disk / air cooler with
blue CCS disk [3-2].
■ Pull the CCS disk off the air warmer / cooler and replace with a CCS
disk with a different colour.
8.2. Add hip padding and adapter plate
■ Pull belt out of belt buckle [4-1].
■ Thread the additional hip padding [4-2] with adapter plate [4-3] onto the
belt.
■ Thread belt through buckle again.
■ Check and possibly correct the position of the padded adapter plates.
