Connecting special accessories

The »freeTEL III« possesses:
- Standard headset port with a 2.5 mm socket (for connecting a headset, for
instance).
- Standard headphone port with a 3.5 mm socket (for connecting a headphone, for
instance).
The following special accessories can be connected to the base station:
- Vibrating pillow
- Flash module

Troubleshooting

General
• Make sure that the telephone cable is undamaged and correctly inserted. Disconnect
any other accessories – extension cable and other telephones. If the telephone works
afterwards, this indicates that the fault is caused by another device.
• Make sure that the power cord is attached to the base station and plugged in correctly.
• Check if the batteries are charged.
• Try connecting the telephone in a neighbour's house, for example. If the device works
there, this indicates that your phone line may be faulty. Contact your telephone
providers' help line.
