4 Handling
INFORMATION

The daily duration of use and period of application are generally determined by the physi
cian.
The initial fitting and application of the product must be carried out by qualified personnel
►
according to the instructions of the treating physician.
►
Consult a physician if any exceptional changes are noted (such as worsening of the com
plaint).
4.1 Size Selection
► Select the orthosis size based on the shoe size (see sizing table).
4.2 Adaptation
>
Open all hook-and-loop closures on the orthosis.
1) Only Achilles Walker and, optionally, Walker high and Air Walker high models: Posi
tion the heel wedge (29S35) in the liner.
2) Position the foot in the liner (see fig. 2). Check the position of the heel whilst doing this.
INFORMATION: The foot angle should be 90° (except models with the 29S35 heel
wedge).
3) Close all hook-and-loop closures on the liner (see fig. 3).
4) Only Immobil Walker high, Immobil Air Walker high and Immobil Achilles Walker: Pull
out the hook-and-loop pad cover by the label (see fig. 4).
5) Press on the lateral guides at the desired position medially and laterally (see fig. 5).
→ The liner is secured in the Walker.
6) Close all hook-and-loop closures on the Walker one after the other, starting at the top (see
fig. 6).
