2. GENTLE COOKING WITH DUROTHERM®

* When using the cookware on induction hobs, discolouration of the outer shell is possible.
This does not mean that function is impaired.
1. Always remove the heat-retaining base before placing your
DUROTHERM® on the stove. Add only a little water to the
food, and always keep the lid on when cooking.
2. Bring your ingredients to the boil covered (IMPORTANT: for
induction* only at ¾ of the highest level). As soon as the
steam escapes, move to step 3. From now on the lid should
remain closed.
3. Turn down the heat to a lower level.
4. Depending on the kind of vegetables (see cooking time
table page 22 or online under www.kuhnrikon.com) take
your DUROTHERM® off the stove after a few minutes and
simmer on the heat-retaining base for table serving.
