Probable cause
Excessive feed intake. This occurs due
to the fact that the motor cannot keep
rotation as required and the product
builds up inside the shredder (use
under this condition may cause motor
to overload).
Insufficient shredder feeding.
1. The blades are dull.
2. Blade holder worn
improperly regulated.
3. Insufficient feeding rollers infeed.
1. Excessive product intake in shredder.
2. Voltage drop in the power grid.
3. Gasoline of doubtful
lack of fuel, fuel valve closed or
disconnected spark plug cable.
1. Disk unbalance
Solution
Switch shredder off and wait until motor comes to a
full stop. Open the lid, remove excess material, close
lid, switch shredder on, and wait for motor to reach
maximum rotation and restart work. Monitor intake/
feeding according to motor capacity.
Keep a continuous feeding flow but avoid overfeeding
to prevent the shredder from jamming.
1. Sharpen cutting blades as indicated in Blades
sharpening (page 51).
2. Use the instructions as indicated in Blade holder
out or
(see page 52).
3. Increase tension spring pressure (see page 50).
Replace upper roller if the teeth are worn out.
1. Before starting, cleaning the machine and at the
end of the work, clean the equipment.
2. Check the power grid conditions (electrician).
3. Check if there's quality gasoline in the tank and if
quality,
the fuel valve is open and if the spark plug cable is
connected.
1. Check the disk unbalance removing it; if
necessary, remove the cutting blades and adjust
the balance.
Wear protection goggles and ear
protection.
