1.9. The switch for disconnecting the appliance from the mains must have a gap of at least
3 mm between all the poles, enabling a complete disconnection in accordance with the
excess voltage conditions Category III.
1.10. Do not leave the appliance on when you leave your home. When leaving home, always
make sure that it is switched off.
1.11. The appliance will reach high surface temperatures; therefore do not touch it, even if it
has been recently switched off.
1.12. Do not cover the appliance, even if it has been switched off.
1.13. Do not fold the parasol until the appliance is completely cold.
1.14. Do not move the mast / parasol when the appliance is in operation.
1.15. Do not allow children or pets to play with the appliance or touch it. Warning! When in
operation, the outlet grille may be very hot
1.16. This appliance should not be used by people (including children) with reduced physical,
sensorial or mental capacity, or with lack of experience and knowledge to do so, if they
are not supervised by someone in charge of their safety or until they have been correctly
trained. Children should be monitored to ensure that they do not play with the product.
1.17. Do not clean the appliance when in operation and do not immerse it in water.
1.18. Do not manipulate the appliance with wet hands.
1.19. Do not wrap the power cable round the appliance while it is in operation.
1.20. Make sure the power cable does not touch any part of the appliance while in operation.
1.21. If the cable is damaged it must be replaced; do not do this yourself – take the appliance
to an authorised repair centre, as this operation must be carried out by specialised per-
sonnel to avoid hazards or damage.
1.22. Do not use the appliance as a clothes or towel drier.
2. INSTALLATION / USE
2.1. Carefully read the Safety warnings before starting to install the appliance.
2.2. The appliance must be fi tted respecting the minimum distances illustrated in Fig. 1.
2.3. The diameter of the mast should be 25 mm to 58 mm.
2.4. Without unfolding the three resistances, slide the removable part marked piece B, from
piece A. Insert the mast and reunite piece B with piece A. Then tighten the securing
screw manually. Follow Fig. 2.
2.5. Unfold the three resistances and make sure that the safety pin of each of them is fi tted.
2.6. Connect the appliance to the mains. Remember that in damp places or outdoor instal-
lations, the mains socket must be at least 25 cm above ground level and make sure the
cable does not touch the ground.
