Rotating table
For mitre cuts the rotating table (28)
turns through 45° to both sides.
28
The rotating table lock engages auto-
matically at positive detents provided for
0°, 15°, 22,5°, 30° and 45° mitre angles.
To disengage, actuate the table lock
lever (30) and loosen the locking screw
(29), if necessary.
To lock the rotating table at any desired
in-between angle, tighten the locking
screw.
Track arms
The track arms make it possible to cut
wider workpieces (such as panels). The
track arms can be used for all type of
cuts (standard cross cuts, mitre cuts,
bevel cuts, compound mitre cuts).
31
The track arms can be locked with the
locking screw (31) in any position.
Sawhead tilt
After loosening the sawhead tilt lock
lever (32) at the rear of the saw, the
sawhead can be steplessly tilted from 0°
through 45° from vertical.

Danger!
A
Dust of certain timber species
(e.g. oak, beech, and ash) can cause
cancer when inhaled: Use a suitable
dust collector:
− when using the saw indoors;
− when working for extended peri-

tes);
− when sawing oak, beech or ash.

Mains connection

Danger! Electrical Hazard
B
Operate saw in dry environ-
ment only.
Operate saw only on a power source
matching the following requirements
(see also "Technical Specifications"):
− mains voltage and system fre-
quency conform to the voltage
and frequency shown on the
saw's reating label;
− fuse protection by a residual cur-
rent operated device (RCD) of
30 mA sensitivity;
− outlets properly installed, earthed
and tested;
Position power supply cable so it
does not interfere with the work and
is not damaged.
Protect power supply cable from heat,
aggressive liquids and sharp edges.
Use only rubber-jacketed extension
cables with sufficient lead cross-sec-
2
tion (3 x 1.5 mm
).
Do not pull on power supply cable to
unplug.

8. Operation

Before starting work check to see
that the following are in proper work-
ing order:
− saw blade;
− retractable blade guard;
− fence.
Use personal protection gear:
− dust respirator;
− hearing protection;
− safety goggles.
Assume proper operating position:
− at the front of the saw;
− in front of the saw;
− to the left of the line of cut.
If the type of work requires, use the
following:
− work support – for long stock,
which would otherwise fall off the
table on completion of the cut;
− dust collector.
