TRIBORD guarantees the proper functioning of this product as described in this document. This
warranty is applicable under the conditions and within the limits indicated below:
Article 1 : The warranty lasts for two (2) years from the date of product purchase from a
licensed TRIBORD dealer.
Article 2 : The legal guarantee of conformity covers defects in conformity of the goods,
packaging and instructions. It covers all conformity defects, namely:
• goods unfit for use normally expected of such goods,
• goods that don't match the description given by the seller,
• that don't possess the qualities advertised by the seller.
The legal warranty against latent defects cover hidden flaws, existing on the date of
acquisition, making the product unfit for the use for which it is intended.
Article 3 : Cover terminates automatically and with immediate effect following the
occurrence of repairs, alterations, modifications, adaptations or falsification in
general, performed on the product or part thereof, which has not been previously
authorised by TRIBORD and has been carried out by unauthorised persons or if
the customer dives with a NITROX mix.
Article 4 : The warranty entitles the owner to a free intervention and repair as soon as
possible, or to carry out the free replacement of the product (at the absolute
discretion of TRIBORD) or parts thereof whenever a dysfunction specifically
mentioned in article 3 above is recognised by TRIBORD.
Article 5 : The guarantee may be exercised by sending the product judged defective to
TRIBORD via the TRIBORD dealer where the product was purchased. If this is
not possible, with prior approval, any other TRIBORD dealer may be authorised
to send off the defective product. A necessary requirement to the exercise of
the guarantee is that the product must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice
or invoice (or other proof of receipt stating the name of the approved TRIBORD
dealer where the product was purchased and the date of purchase) reflecting the
purchase.
Whenever TRIBORD receives a product which:
• is not accompanied by a proof of purchase with the specifications given above,
• does not conform to the conditions of article 3 above,
• has defects due to external and additional factors compared to those specifically
mentioned in article 2 above,
• has been misused and/or used for different purposes than that for which the product was
designed.
TRIBORD will not examine the product, and will notify the authorised dealer/despatcher. If the
sender insists that an appraisal be done anyway, he or she must send a request to TRIBORD
within fifteen working days; this request must expressly undertake to bear all expenses relating
to such examination (labour, spare parts, transport costs if any). Otherwise, TRIBORD will return
the product at the sender's expense.
