Recommendation:
Connect all input and output cables to the device before powering it in order to avoid
damages to the FP laser.
ATTENTION: WHEN THE GREEN LED LIGHTS (ON) THE LASER IS POWERED AND IS
EMITTING INVISIBLE LASER RADIATION.
In the KTX-RC module, the connector identified as RC-INPUT / TV-SAT OUT represents the
input for the uplink return channel signals in the
band from 5 to 65 MHz (for cable modem return
channel for instance).
The connector named TV-SAT IN is the input
for the terrestrial and satellite downstreaming
signals within the band from 88 MHz up to
2150 MHz. The downstream signals internally
combined with the RC signals are available at
the RC-INPUT / TV-SAT OUT connector.
On the front of the module, the green led (ON)
lights when the product is correctly supplied.
Besides, the red led (ALARM) lights in case of
possible faults of the transmitter, as a too high
current absorption by the laser (which indicates
laser incoming damage) or the absence of
optical output (which indicates laser breaking).
KRX-RC receiver

In the KRX-RC module, the connector named
RC-OUTPUT / TV-SAT IN identifies the input
for the downstream signals coming from the
head-end within the band from 88 MHz up
to 2150 MHz. Internally the module provides
the separation between the downstream and
the upstream signals. The TV-SAT signals are
available with a pass-through connection at
the connector TV-SAT OUT. In this way the
downstream link may be installed through the
KRX-RC module. Finally, the RC-OUT connector
identifies the output for the return channel
signals, in the 5-65 MHz band, transmitted through the optical fibre by the KTX-RC.
On the front of the module, the green led (ON) lights when the product is correctly supplied.
Besides, the red led (ALARM) lights in case of possible bad working of the receiver, related to
a too low optical input power.
