Using the LED light

The terrarium lamp a is only to be used outside the nano terrarium. It is neither waterproof nor protected against splash
water. Keep clean to sustainably preserve the necessary amount of light.
Disconnect from power source before performing any electrical work!
The lights are for indoor use only and only to be used once completely assembled. Do not replace or alter the light's ex-
ternal flexible cable. If the cable is damaged, please contact the manufacturer or an authorised electrician directly.
Fitting or removing the LED light
To fit the LED light, click the lamp into place in the appropriate fixing ring ⓐ. Ensure the arrow on the LED light is
pointing in the same direction as the arrow on the fixing ring ⓑ. If the light does not click in straight away, slightly turn
the LED light to find the correct click-in position.
The LED light's power supply must point away from the nano terrarium towards the back. The contact of the light's
power cable must point downwards ⓒ.
To remove, gently pull the LED light up and out of the catch mechanism.
Caution: There is no glass plate between the LED and the inside of the nano terrarium in order to maximise
light output. Consequently, if the LED light is not fitted the terrarium animals are able to escape.
Opening and closing the nano terrarium
The front panel of the nano terrarium is equipped with an innovative opening mechanism c . This two-step method
allows you to open and close the nano terrarium without compromising the terrarium animals. In step 1, the front panel
can be opened around 3 cm to feed the animals and can remain in this position. The front panel can also be completely
removed for care and cleaning purposes, ensuring maximum freedom of movement (stage 2).
To open the front panel, pull it towards you ⓔ using the support handle ⓓ. The front panel can now be opened by around
3 cm to safeguard against accidental opening and for feeding or spraying purposes and remains in this position ⓕ.
Should you wish to open the front panel wider or remove it completely, first close the front panel again, flip the safety
catch forwards and then tip the front panel away from the nano terrarium ⓖ. The front panel can then be pulled up and
removed ⓗ.
