Full adjustment
Attention:
The active area (PEEK-tip) is
complete immersed into the
product to be detected.
• Press the EasyTeach button with the screwdriver
and hold it until the yellow LED is flashing.
• Release the EasyTeach button.
• During the initialisation process the LED is flashing
yellow with higher frequency.
• The full adjustment is finished when the LED is
static yellow.
Attention:
The sensor is now optimally adjusted for the detection of the media currently being used and the current
mounting conditions. The switching hysteresis is calculated automatically.

Factory Reset

The sensor can easily be readjusted to the way it was initially supplied - factory settings.
• Press the EasyTeach button with the screwdriver
and hold it until the LED is flashing alternately
green / yellow.
• Release the EasyTeach button.
Factory Reset is made and the sensor is in the original delivery state.
The LED and output signal is according to the current state, this means dependent on whether or not
there is the material / object to be detected in the active area of the sensor.

Do not change the product level or position of the sensor!
ETW = Easy Teach by wire
• Connect the grey teach wire (Pin 5) to the supply
voltage and hold it until the LED is flashing yellow
and output A1 pulsates.
• Disconnect the grey teach wire (Pin 5).
• During the initialisation process the LED is flash-
ing yellow with a higher frequency and A1 will pulsate
accordingly.
• The full adjustment is finished when the LED is
static yellow and A1 is high.
• Connect the grey teach wire (Pin 5) to the supply
voltage and hold it until the LED is flashing alter
nately green / yellow and the outputs A2 and A1
pulsate accordingly.
• Disconnect the grey teach wire (Pin 5).
