Warranty
Kimberly-Clark warrants that its products (1) comply with K-C's standard specifications as of the delivery date to K-C's authorized distributors/direct
purchasers and are warrantied for the following periods from end user's date of purchase (verified by valid sales receipt) (a) five years for Balder Technology auto darken-
ing filters; (b) two years for all other auto darkening filters; (2) comply with all K-C labeling representations; and (3) are manufactured in compliance with all applicable
federal, state, and local laws in effect at the time and place of manufacture of the products. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. K-C is not liable for any kind of special, incidental,
or consequential damages. K-C's liability for breach of contract, tort or other cause of action shall not exceed the product purchase price. Purchasers and users are
deemed to have accepted the above warranty and limitation of liability, and cannot change the terms by verbal agreement or by any writing not signed by K-C. To the
extent required by applicable law, K-C does not limit its liability for death/injury resulting from K-C's negligence. Production defects of the R60 JACKSON SAFETY* AIR-
MAX ELITE* PAPR blower unit are covered by a 24-month guarantee starting on the day of purchase. Batteries have a 6 month warranty starting on the day of purchase.
A warranty claim must be claimed with the KCP distributor. When claimed, it is necessary to submit proof of purchase (an invoice or a delivery note).
The warranty can only be accepted when it is found out that no changes have been made to the filtration unit and/or the charger.
The warranty does not apply especially to defects caused by a late change of filters or by using a filter damaged by cleaning and/or by blowing the filters through.
Maintenance and cleaning
Each time you stop working, clean and inspect the AIRMAX ELITE* blower and replace any damaged parts.
• Clean the outer surface of the blower with a soft cloth dampened in a solution of water and regular dish washing liquid. Wipe all parts
dry after cleaning!
• Disconnect the hose from the blower and headpiece and clean with water.
• Cleaning must be carried out in a well-ventilated room. Be careful not to breathe in the harmful dust settled on individual parts of the
blower and its accessories!
• Never use any detergents with solvents or any abrasive cleaners.
• Water or any other liquids must NOT penetrate into the blower!
Storage
• Store the AIRMAX ELITE* system components at 15-120°F (-10 to 50°C) and 20-80% relative humidity.
• Batteries will gradually discharge during storage.
• Shelf life of unopened blowers is 2 years.
