SPECIFICATIONS
Wired-operated
Battery-operated
Operated around the house, in the garden, in the office.
Please carefully follow up the instructions in order to be sure to set it up correctly. Your set is composed of :
• one bell WE 375 SER.R1 • one call button "IP 44" • rainshield • 6 meters of cable

INSTALLING OF CALL BUTTON AND BELL
a. Set the bell "IP44"
Take off the upper side of the call button with a flat screwdriver. (pic.1-2)
Pass the wires through the shield and the button base (pic.3)
Remove the above part of the button from its base with a flat screwdriver. (pic. 2-3)
Connect the wires on + and -
Fix the shield/base assembly on the wall
Close the call button
b. Bell functioning with 4 batteries : (pic 6)
Open the casing (pic 4)
Fix it firmly with 2 screws, between 1.50 and 2.50 m from ground (the arrow printed under the fixing hole must
be up) (pic 5)
Connect the call button on terminals B & C (no polarity to be respected) (pic 6)
Set up the batteries : 4 batteries type LR 14 or C (pic 5) keeping correct polarity as indicated in batteries casing
, then set back the cover.
c. Bell functioning with a transformer 230V~ /8V~
Lift the cover from downside in order to open the casing
Fix it firmly with 2 screws, between 1.50 and 2.50 m from ground (the arrow printed under the fixing hole must
be up)
Connect the transformer 8 V~ output on terminals A & B
Connect the call button on terminals B & C, then set back the cover
If the chime is powered with a transformer, then it is possible to use the optional light button (ref. WE 300 SER.
R1)

• Backlighted button : WE 300 SER.R1
IMPORTANT :
Your chime bell is a sensitive electronic product and the following precautions must be observed:
- Always use alkaline batteries in the call button and rechargeable batteries in the chime bell;
Devices will work longer and will be less sensitive to humidity
- If you do not use the call button and the chime bell for a long period, remove the batteries
- Do not expose the chime bell to sun light and humidity
