Reliability of the validity of the test
If at the end of incubation time (about 48 hours) the LED is off the test is valid.
If at the end of incubation time the LED is on, the test is NOT valid
CAUTION: HOT SURFACE – Do not touch the heating block during
operation of the unit.

INSTRUCTION OF THE USER
1.
Identify the biological indicator to be treated.
2.
Insert the biological indicator into the sterilizer, according to the
manufacturer's instructions of the autoclave.
3.
Perform the sterilization cycle.
4.
Remove the biological indicator from the sterilizer.
5.
Let the biological indicator cool for at least 10 minutes.
6.
Check the colour change of the chemical strip indicator (fg.2 – POS. L).
7.
Break the glass bulb (fg.2 – POS.M) of the biological indicator which is inside
the thermoplastic container by exerting pressure with the supplied pliers, until the
bulb breaks. Perform this operation just a minute before inserting the indicator in
the incubator. The indicator must be inserted in the incubator within and not
beyond 1 hour from the moment it was removed from the sterilizer.

Insert the biological indicator in the incubator's heating unit
9. Begin the cycle of incubation by pressing the START button
10. Check the biological indicator at regular intervals to control the changing of
colour (at 18, 24, 36 hours).
11. Incubate the biological indicator for at least 48 hours using as a reference an
indicator not treated in a sterilization cycle.
12. For the detailed procedure carefully read the instructions for use which are
inside the packaging of the biological indicators.
