■ Check that all screws [# 1503], [# 61416] and [# 133967] are tight-
ened securely. Tighten screws if necessary.
■ Check that air cap is tightened securely.
■ Fluid tip tightened with a torque of 14 Nm.
■ Technically clean compressed air is being used.
8.1. First Use
■ Blow through the compressed air hose thoroughly before installation.
■ Purge paint channel with suitable cleaning solution.
■ Screw connection nipple onto air connection.
■ Connect compressed air hose to air valve [1-9].
■ Adjust cup inner pressure to the material
being used.
■ Align the air cap.
■ Align the air cap horns vertically for a horizontal fan pattern.
■ Align the air cap horns horizontally for a vertical fan pattern.
8.2. Normal Operation
Connect spray gun
■ Connect compressed air hose to air connection [1-9].
Fill with material
Notice!
When painting, only use as much material as is required for the specific
procedure.
When painting, maintain the necessary spray distance. After painting,
store or dispose of the material correctly.
■ Unscrew screw-on lid [1-15] from gravity flow cup [1-14].
■ Remove drip-stop [# 70664].
■ Fill gravity flow cup (maximum 20 mm below top edge).
■ Insert drip-stop.
■ Screw the screw-on lid onto the gravity flow cup.
Adjust material pressure
The material pressure can be read off at the pressure gauge [1-8] with
subsequent fully various adjustment at the control knob [1-10].
■ Pull control knob [1-10] away from spray gun until it audibly releases.
■ Adjust spraying air quantity at the control knob and read off spray fan
pressure at the pressure gauge.
■ Press control knob towards spray gun until it audibly engages.
