PRESSURE COOKER
2.
Pay close attention when shifting the pressure cooker during cooking, do not
touch the hot surface.
3.
High pressure frying is not allowed.
4.
Do not place anything and do not restrict, in any way, the free space around
the safety valve (9) and the pressure regulator/steam release valve (4). Steam release
is necessary for maintaining the proper and secure pressure inside the cooker.
5.
You cannot cook dried legumes in the pressure cooker unless you leave them
to soak for at least 12 hours before cooking. Generally, both with fresh vegetables and
dried legumes, it is recommended to cook small amounts at a time and not to exceed
the MAX indicator on the scale: the foam created during cooking might obstruct the
safety valve (9) of the cooker and the pressure regulator/steam release valve (4).
6.
During cooking, it is forbidden to turn the knob of the pressure regulator/steam
release valve (4) in the position
VIII. Maintenance of the pressure cooker and spare parts
1.
After cooking, always wash the pressure cooker with dishwasher liquid.
2.
The pressure cooker and the lid are not dishwasher safe.
3.
Do not scrub the pressure cooker with sharp objects.
4.
Clean the silicone gasket before and after each use, remove any debris and
keep it in a dry place. Make sure to properly fix the silicone gasket on the lid.
5.
Clean the safety valve (9) after each use. To do this, turn the lid upside down
and check that the valve is not obstructed. Clean the valve area when it is in extended
position.
6.
Clean the pressure regulator/steam release valve (4) after each use. To do
this, remove the valve and clean it in warm water.
IX. Storage
The pressure cooker should be stored in its original packaging. It is recommended to
place it in a dry place, out of reach of children.
X. Troubleshooting
If you notice any irregularities in the operation of the pressure cooker, you must
immediately remove it from the hob, set on a flat surface and spray it with cold water in
order to lower the temperature and relieve the pressure. You must find the cause of the
problem and follow the steps indicated in the following table.
