Tractor minimum driving power
The TR 500T model shredder is driven by a
cardan shaft, coupled to a tractor PTO (TDP). The

All TRAPP shredders they leave factory without
electrical connection to allow the customer to
choose the kind of connection based on the voltage
of their property power source.
For shredders sold without motor, the choice of
the minimum power shall follow the technical data
shown on pg. 60.
For motors of power greater than 5 hp three-phase,
it is recommended to use the star-delta for starting.
The recommended model is the ETW (WEG Drives)
or similar.
As the on/off switch is distant from the shredder,
install an emergency button in the equipment in case
immediate switching off is necessary.
Attention!
Before making any kind of connection,
make
sure
disconnected.
16. Make sure that the power source where the shredder
will be installed is compatible with the data on the
motor plate.
17. Disconnect the power source to make motor
connections.
18. Make the connections shown according to the voltage
of the power source.
19. Make sure the connections are well insulated.
20. Turn on power source and check the rotation of the
motor.
21. If necessary, invert the electrical connection, as
indicated on the motor plate, so that the motor works
in the correct direction of rotation.

Installation of Motor

maximum allowed rotation of the PTO is 540 rpm.
It is not allowed to work with the equipment with
rotation higher than 540 rpm in the PTO, check
the rotation before connecting the equipment to
avoid accidents and damage to the equipment.
Gasoline
Supply
Avoid using gasoline stored for more than 7 days, as
this causes malfunction decreasing motor life .
Fill the tank being careful not to spill fuel.
Refuel only with plain (no additives) gasoline.
Gas tank capacity: 6.5 liters (15 HP motor TRAPP /
Lifan), 7 liters (13,5 HP Briggs & Stratton) and
11 liters (16 HP Briggs & Stratton ).
