Checking
Before operating the shredder check:
If there are tools or objects on the motor or on the
equipment, especially inside the feed funnel.
If there is something obstructing the motor.
If the rotation direction is correct.
If the voltage of the power source is the same of that
of the shredder.
If there are people or objects near pulleys and belts.
Check the direction of the projection of the shredded
material.

The motor shall be operated only if the lever belt tensioner is in relief position 1, without stressing the belt as
pictured above, then in this position the motor is operated after reaching its maximum speed push the lever
of the belt tensioner in the position 2 according to the picture below by checking if the belts will remain
tensioned according with the operation of the crusher, it is worth to remember that the belt tensioner lever
can only tighten when the motor is under operation, if the motor is switched off damages may occur to the
motor.

Note:
If the equipment is properly prepared,
start the motor, allow it to reach
maximum
revolution
working.
Keep both diesel and gasoline motors
running for some minutes for them to
reach normal working temperature.
Never leave a gasoline or diesel motor
running in a confided area or without
proper ventilation. The gas from the
exhaust contains carbon monoxide
which is inodorous and lethal.
