At choice, the mode "Connect to existing WLAN" can be used for camera control (see
chapter 4.1.2).
4.1.1

Mode "WLAN access point" (factory setting)

In this mode, each Stemi 305 cam provides its own WLAN.
In the WLAN settings of the iPad, all Stemi 305 WLAN networks are recognized which are within reach.
After establishing the connection to one of these WLAN networks, the connected Stemi 305 cam appears
as an icon in the Apps Labscope / Matscope and can be controlled via the iPad. Change-over to another
Stemi 305 cam is only possible if the user changes over to the WLAN of the required Stemi 305 cam in
the WLAN settings of the iPad.
Depending on the WLAN and on the image contents, between 3 and max. 6 iPads can be connected to
the WLAN of a Stemi 305 cam, thus being used for viewing live images, for camera control or snapshots.
Due to the delayed live stream and the line loss thus caused, it is not recommended to use more than 6
live streams.
To operate several Stemi 305 cams comfortably (without changing the WLAN network), each
Stemi 305 cam disposes of another operating mode, i.e. the mode "Connect to existing
WLAN" (see chapter 4.1.2).
