• Packaging materials (bags, box, etc.)
must not be left within reach of children
as they are potential hazards.
• Before connecting the device, check that
your mains voltage corresponds to that
one shown on the rating label. The rating
label is situated on the back of the devi-
ce.
• If the plug of the device is not suitable for
the mains socket, use an adaptor appro-
ved for use in the country where you are
using the device, or have the plug repla-
ced by a qualified technician authorised
by Artsana SpA.
• To prevent overheating and compressor
damage, turn the device off after 20 mi-
nutes of use and leave off for 40 minu-
tes.
• Make sure filters are dry to ensure the
device works properly.
• The device must not be used in the pre-
sence of nitrous oxide, oxygen or anae-
sthetic mixtures flammable with air.
• Turn off the device and disconnect from
the mains after use and before adding
medicine. Do not overfill the nebulizer
cup.
• Keep the device and power lead away
from hot surfaces.
• Do not use the device while having a bath
or shower, or when in a damp place, or
close to bath-tubs, sinks, washbasins,
etc.
• Never touch the device with wet or damp
hands.
• Do not drop or put the device into water
or other liquids. If the device is dropped
or falls into water or other liquids, re-
move the plug immediately, do not use
the device and contact a qualified techni-
cian.
• Do not obstruct air vents during use.
• Do not use the device if you feel drowsy.
• Children and physically and mentally
challenged users must be closely super-
vised when using the device.
• Do not use connectors or accessories not
recommended by the manufacturer.
• Make sure the device is placed on level,
stable surfaces when used (and stored)
in order to prevent spillage.
• Make sure the surface the device rests on
when used is free of any items that may
obstruct air flow.
• Never leave the device plugged into the
power supply when it is not operating or
when it is unattended.
• Disconnect the device from the mains
before cleaning and/or maintenance
operations.
• If you decide to no longer use the device,
disconnect from the mains and cut off
the plug so the device cannot work. We
also recommend eliminating any parts
that are potential hazards, particularly
for children.
• To dispose of accessories subjected to
wear, please refer to applicable legisla-
tion. To dispose of the device, please re-
fer to the EU directive 2002/96/EC.
• This device must not be used if any part
has been damaged or weakened, after it
has fallen or been dropped. If in doubt
contact a qualified technician.
• In the case of failure or malfunctioning of
the device, switch it off by removing the
plug from the power supply. Do not try to
open or tamper with the device.

Effective aerosol treatment depends on
how well the medicine circulates in the
respiratory tree. The nebulizer cup - and
its capacity to create particles of an ideal
size and distribute them in the respiratory
tract - is essential, in order to maximise
