Then drill the two fastening holes with 6 mm
diameter. The centers of the holes must be
marked so that they are 167 mm apart and
horizontal (Fig 2) and at least 1500 mm above
the floor (allow for skirtings) and the holes drilled
accordingly.
Insert wall plugs in the drilled holes, screw in the
screws and hang the heater on the wall.

5. Proper use
The appliance is designed only for private use, not
for commercial heating purposes.
The machine is to be used only for its prescribed
purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of
misuse. The user / operator and not the
manufacturer will be liable for any damage or injuries
of any kind caused as a result of this.
Please note that our equipment has not been
designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.
6. Starting up
Important! Before using the appliance for the first
time, check that the voltage supply is the same as
the voltage details set out on the data plate. Read
safety instructions listed under section 1.
When the heater is used for the first time or after a
long period of rest it may emit an odor for a short
time. This is not a fault.
6.1 Switch for heat output (Fig. 1 / Item 1)
Important!
The switch is to be operated only in anticlockwise
direction.

The switch can also be actuated with the pull cord
(Fig. 1/Item 4).
6.2 Overheat cut-out
In case of excessive heating, the heating function
shuts down automatically. If this case occurs, turn off
the appliance, disconnect the mains plug and wait a
few minutes until it has cooled. After eliminating the
cause (e.g. a covered air grille), the appliance can be
switched on again. If the overheat cut-out triggers
repeatedly, please contact your customer service

center.

7. Maintenance and cleaning

Before carrying out any cleaning and
maintenance work the appliance must be turned
off, disconnected from the power supply and
cooled down.
Maintenance and repair work may only be
carried out by an electrical servicing contractor or
your customer service center.
Check the mains lead at regular intervals for
signs of defects or damage. A damaged mains
lead may only be replaced by an electrician or
the customer service responsible for your
country in compliance with the relevant
regulations.
Use a damp cloth to clean the casing.
Remove dust pollution with a vacuum cleaner.
8. Storage
The radiator has to be stored in a dry place, covered
if possible.
