Do not exceed the max. time of 15 minutes if sterile water capsules without a refilling system are used
Heatable patient hose
Only use original hoses. Malfunctions may arise if other heated hoses are used.
The hose heater switches on automatically when the ultrasonic nebulizer starts. The operating temperature of max.
40 °C is reached after approx. 10 minutes
The connection pieces of the respective chamber lids have conical 22mm ISO standard
connections, so that conventional hoses with these dimensions can be connected in addition to
those listed in the appendix.
Caution, risk of patient injury
Only use heated hoses up to an ambient temperature of 30 °C

Putting into operation
6.1
Preparation
Place the device upright on a level, solid surface. The device must be upright to ensure proper function of the overflow
protection. On a soft surface (e.g. pillow, mattress), the ventilation slots may be blocked, which can cause the device to
overheat.
6.2
Connecting to power supply
Warning, risk of electric shock
Connecting devices to auxiliary power sockets may increase leakage current. If the protective ground on
one of these devices fails, the leakage current may exceed the permissible values. Only make connections
after agreement with the respective manufacturer of the device. Have service personnel check the
leakage current. If the permissible value is exceeded, do not use the auxiliary power sockets on the
device but separate mains power sockets on the wall.
Caution, device inoperable
Before putting the device into operation for the first time, the device voltage must be set to the mains
voltage available using the voltage switch at the rear of the device. 230V is preset.
Selecting the mains voltage
Observe the rating plate on the underside of the device.

Connect the plug of the hose heater (E) to the socket at
-
the rear of the device. Make sure the mark on the plug is
pointing upwards.
-
Attach the heated silicone hose (instead of the long
1000mm hose) onto the opening of the nebulizer chamber
lid, the automatic feeder set or the medication container.
Carefully unlock the fuse insert (A) on the device socket
-
using a screwdriver and remove it
Remove the voltage switch (B) from the fuse insert and
-
select the required mains voltage by rotating it. Put the fuse
insert back in by pressing it until it audibly clicks into place.
The required mains voltage (110 V/127 V/230 V) is now
-
visible in the window (C)
