Instructions manual for pump series YESA
• The pump should be fixed with suitable screws through the holes in the pump support. It
is recommended to use screws or a base for anti vibrations to avoid noise and improve
the life of the pump.
• We recommend placing the pump as close to the water level as possible in order to
minimize the aspiration work and thus reduce the loss of height in the discharge pipe,
ensuring that the pump is placed in a stable and dry place.
• Ensure that the pump will never be submerged, and that lies in a dry, well-ventilated
area.
• The pump can be placed above or below the level of the liquid. If installed above the
suction height between the level of liquid and the pump can not exceed 7 m.

4.1 Pipes installation

• The suction pipe must have a diameter slightly larger than the pump inlet and must always
remain in an upward slope from 2% in order to help improving the pump priming.
• A foot valve filter is required and must be submerged at least 30 cm below the water level
to prevent the air of entering into the pump.
• Make sure the discharge pipe has a diameter greater than or equal to the output of the
pump.
• The suction pipe should never rest on the top of the pump.
• When using larger diameter pipes, exocentric cones have to be used to connect the inlet
port and concentric cones in the discharge pipe.
• The connections of the aspiration pipe should be completely watertight to prevent any
entry of air that would affect the efficiency of the pump. The pipes must be installed via
the shortest way. Elbows must be avoided in order not to lose height.
• The pump loses efficiency depending on the length and diameter of the pipe connections.
To optimize the flow rate, please make sure that the pipe has a diameter equal to or
greater than 1 "(25.4 mm).
• Connect the discharge pipe to the output of the pump 1" G as shown in
Use the necessary accessories between the output and the piping system.
• To achieve maximum suction height of 7 ~ 8m, it is advised to install a vertical discharge
pipe of no less than 50 cm in the output port
• Connect the suction pipe and the discharge pipe with great care. Fasten all joints along
the pipe with reliable connections, properly sealed with Teflon tape.
