8. POWER CONECTION
Machines with an electric motor must always be connected to a
standardized panel with a magnetotherm and a switchboard ac-
cording to the motor features: 4Kw (5.5Cv), three-phase 400V,
magnetothermic 40A or 4Kw (5.5Cv), single phase at 230V, 40A
magnetothermic
Do not connect the machine to low power plugs.
Connect it directly to an electrical switchboard.
The extension cable used to feed the machine should have a minimum
section according to the length of the hose. Do not use domestic hoses or
splices, it will cause a voltage drop that will cause the machine to stop and
the hoses to overheat.
The operating voltage of the machine is visible on the sticker next to the
connection plug or the electrical panel cover.
The machine is equipped with a voltmeter and ammeter displaying the vol-
tage of the supply network before pressing START, to prevent that a bad
power supply is fed into the different parts of the machine causing irrepara-
ble damage. Do not press START if the voltage indicated on the voltmeter
is not within the established limits. If the network voltage exceeds these
limits, it will cause irreversible damage to the electrical system.
Never handle the power cables of the machine's wires or electrical material
unless you have completely disconnected the mains power supply.
VERY IMPORTANT: The earth connection must always be connected be-
fore start-up
8.1 REVERTING THE MOTOR ROTATING DIRECTION
Before starting to operate the machine, check the direction of the motor rotation. If the motor does not rotate in the di-
rection indicated on the image, invert the phases either turning the pins on the plug or in the motor terminal box.
WARNING: Do not operate the machine if the motor does not rotate in the right direction: the resulting pro-
jection of crushed material might inflict physical damage to the operator.
