15.3.2. Precision

The precision was evaluated by using the commercially available control so-
lution Medi-Test Control, manufactured by MACHEREY-NAGEL, Düren, Ger-
many. This Control is used for daily routine system check of the URYXXON
urinalysis system. It is available as a 2 level set (Medi-Test Control N = level 1
(N): negative-normal, Medi-Test Control P = level 2 (P): positive values). The
analytical performance was evaluated by calculating specificity, sensitivity, posi-
tive predictive value (PPV) and negative predictive value (NPV).
