Pressure Regulator Knob - Position to SEAL for pressurized cooking and position to
VENT to release pressure or cooking without pressure.
Floating Valve - Safety valve engages when pressure is built in the cooker and will not
allow lid to be removed. It will release when pressure is reduced, lid can safely be removed.
Twist Locking Lid - A mechanical safety feature that locks the lid until pressure in the
cooker is reduced to safe levels.
Removable Cooking Pot - Removable with non-stick coating for easy cleanup and durable
aluminum alloy for even heating.
Condensation Reservoir - Collects excess condensation during cooking process.
Rubber Gasket - Creates air tight seal necessary for pressure cooking.
Filter - Protects pressure regulator stem and is removable for easy cleaning.

WARM
Reheats food or keeps food warm for serving.
BROWN
To brown/sauté meat before pressure cooking for better results.
STEAM
Quickly boils water to steam foods like vegetables or rice.
RICE
One touch setting for cooking rice. Defaults to 12 mins. at high pressure.
START/CANCEL Controls power to the the control board.
HIGH
Controls cooking pressure at 10 pounds above atmospheric pressure.
LOW
Controls cooking pressure at 5 pounds above atmospheric pressure.
SLOW COOK Cooks recipes slowly (9-1/2 hour timer) and at a low heat (180°F) to
retain the natural flavors and tenderness.
TIME DELAY Allows you to delay the cooking process by up to 24 hours.
CAUTION: Perishable foods should not be left at room temperature for
more than 2 hours (1 hour if above 90°F).
• Unpack your appliance, removing all paper and plastic bags from inside the appliance.
• Wash all removable parts, except cord, in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Wipe Base with soft damp cloth. NEVER immerse Base in water or any other liquid. DO
NOT PLACE ANY PARTS IN DISHWASHER!
• Be sure Gasket seal is installed properly to lid. To install, fit the groove of gasket around
metal ring mounted inside the lid (see image below). Fill the removable cooking pot 3/5
full of water, set regulator knob to SEAL and set control at HIGH for 25 minutes. Press
START. When pressure is reached, timer will begin countdown.
• When finished, display will read "end" and there will be 3 audible beeps. Press CANCEL
and release pressure by turning pressure regulator knob to VENT and wait for floating
valve to drop until all pressure is released.
