Driving on slopes
Warning!
Avoid going up and down slopes with more than
15 degrees of slope with the tractor, and do not run
any horizontal slope. Use the slope guide provided
at the end of this manual.
On the slopes, cut going up and down, never
diagonally.
Be extremely careful when changing directions
on slopes.
Pay attention to holes, grooves, protrusions,
stones and other hidden objects. Uneven
terrain may overturn the tractor. Tall grasses
can hide obstacles.
Avoid turning when driving on slopes. When
turning, rotate down the slope. Rotating by
ascending the slope increases the risk of
rollover.
Avoid stopping when climbing a slope. If it is
necessary to stop, do it gently and carefully to
reduce the risk of the tractor overturning the
coast.
If stopping is absolutely necessary, press the
clutch/brake pedal rapidly to the "braked"
position and engage the parking brake.
Move the motion control lever to the neutral point.
To restart the motion, slowly release the
parking brake and the clutch/brake pedal.
Move the motion control lever slowly to the
lowest setting.
How to transport the tractor
Moving the tractor manually
If your tractor is equipped with a hydrostatic relief
system (which allows the tractor to move manually,
allowing the rear wheels to rotate freely), proceed
as follows:
1. Locate the stem of the hydrostatic system on the back of
the tractor, as shown in Image 16;
Image 16
2. Pull out the system stem, then move down and left
to lock in place.
Note:
The transmission cannot be engaged while the stem
of the hydrostatic system is pulled out. Return the
rod to the normal position to operate the tractor.
Avoid pushing or towing the tractor more than 8
(eight) km/h.
Important:
Never attempt to move the tractor manually
without first activating the hydrostatic system.
Doing this improperly can cause serious problems
the in tractor transmission.
