Cutting blades
Warning!
Be sure to turn off the engine, remove the ignition
key, disconnect the spark plug cable, and make
sure it is not in contact with the spark plug to
prevent accidental starting, before removing the
mowing blades to sharpen or change them. Protect
your hands using gloves to hold the blades.
Warning!
Periodically check the threads and blade shaft for
cracks or damage, especially after hitting an object.
If any damage occurs, replace the damaged parts.
To remove the blades, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the deck from the bottom of the tractor;
2. Place a piece of wood holding the blade so that it
does not rotate. See Image 25;
3. Remove the nut that secures the blade to the
rotating shaft. See Image 26;
4. To sharpen the blades in the best way, wear the
blade evenly over the wire at an angle of 25-30
degrees.

Replace the blades if after successive sharpening,
the distance between the wire and the opposite
side is less than 4 cm. See Image 27.
It is important that both sides of the blade are
evenly sharpened so that it does not unbalance
them.
The vibration generated by an unbalanced
blade can cause damage to the tractor or
even accidents and injuries. The blade can be
attached to a rotating shaft to test its balance.
Wear the heavier side until you get the balance.
When changing blades, be sure to put the
bottom side (or the side where the serial
number is marked) in the direction of the
ground (considering the usage deck).
Use a torque wrench to tighten the blade-
locking nut with a torque between 95 Nm
(10 Kgf.m) and 122 N.m (12.5 Kgf.m).

Warning!
Be sure to turn off the engine, remove the ignition
key, undock the spark plug cable and make sure
it is not in contact with the spark plug to prevent
accidental starting before changing the strap.
All belts on your tractor are subject to natural wear
and should be replaced when this occurs.
