Advanced Functions
Whether in TV or DTV mode, the device offers additional features to always guarantee a fast and
trouble-free operation. These allow you to access directly to the most common options without hav-
ing to navigate through different menus.
Quick Selection of Channels
During digital TV reception, press the OK button (32) to display a TV channel list. From here you can
press or (32) to choose a channel group and then or (32) to select a channel. Then press
the OK button (32) to switch to the selected channel.
Teletext
Press TEXT (46) on the remote control several times to display the Teletext, to display it with a trans-
parent background or to hide it.
Via the coloured function buttons (40, 41, 42 and 43) you can control the top text. At the bottom of
the Teletext window you'll see help texts for the coloured buttons and their associated functions.
Press a function button to open the suggested page of the top text.
Some analogue Teletext pages may consist of multiple subpages that are broadcast and displayed
in sequence. These pages can be recognized by indications such as 1/2 (first of two subpages).
Press the SUBPAGE button (39) and then the CH+ or CH- button (35) to navigate through the sub-
pages.
The buttons (36) to (38) and (44) to (47) correspond to the usual control buttons for analogue Tele-
text. Please also read the short description about the remote control on page 16.
Picture Settings
Press the P.MODE button (53) multiple times to toggle between the available preset picture
modes.
Audio Settings
Press the S.MODE button (54) multiple times to toggle between the available preset sound modes.
Displaying Information
Press the DISPLAY button (51) to display the information about the currently selected signal
source.
When receiving digital TV channels (signal source "DTV"), two bars representing the signal strength
and quality as well as information about the current and next programme will appear.
